13" (33 cm.) All-wooden doll with ovoid head,one-piece head and torso with very elongated
throat and shapely bosom and waist,heart-shaped face with pointy chin,painted black hair in
skull-cap fashion with defined comb-marks and painted spit curls onto the sides of her
face,painted facial features,tiny blue eyes,black eyeliner and brows,closed mouth with extended
accent line between the tiny lips,dowel-jointing at shoulders,elbows,hips and knees. Condition:
generally excellent. tiny nose tip rub. Comments: Grodnertal,circa 1820. Value Points: elegant
slender lady has her original braided wig under original cap,and wears her original gown with
superb extended sleeves and sous-sleeves,bronze silk gown,homespun undergarments,leather
sewn-on slippers.
