16" (41 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with realistically-tinted complexion,brown sculpted hair in deeply-sculpted waves,with an escaping tendril of curl onto his forehead,painted facial features,darkest-blue eyes,red eyeliner,accent dots at eye corners,brown painted brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with accent line between the lips,muslin shapely body,kid arms,wearing antique gentleman's costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (orb symbol) and KPM (in red stamp) KPM I (in blue stamp). Comments: KPM Berlin,circa 1840,the particular marks were used by the firm only from 1837-1844. Value Points: rare to find early model with superb sculpting,complexion,features,and rare brown hair.
