upward,black single stroke eyeliner,painted side-angled brows,button-shaped nose,closed
mouth with impish smile,modeled tongue sticking out as out licking her lips. blonde mohair
wig,paper mache body with painted shoes and socks,wearing original blue cotton dress and linen
pinafore with flower-printed pocket. Condition: generally excellent,typical uneven quality of
bisque from this maker. Marks: R dep Germany. Comments: Theodore Recknagel,circa
1915.,from his series of impish characters. Value Points: absolutely delightful depiction of little
girl licking her lips,anticipating a treat,very rare,few others are known to exist.
