9" (23 cm.) Solid domed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque slender torso,brown glass inset
eyes,dark eyeliner,painted dark curly lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with
center accent line,blonde mohair wig,peg-jointed bisque arms and legs in slender elongated
shape,sculpted white deeply-ribbed knee-high stockings and peach heeled shoes with large
sculpted bows. Condition: generally excellent,few tiny flakes at stringing holes. Comments:
Simon and Halbig for the French market,circa 1885. Value Points: outstanding presence of the
rare large size all-bisque with very beautiful face,superb bisque and painting,rare painting of
shoes,and wearing original peach silk dress with lavish lace trim and matching lace cap.
