7" (18 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head,painted hair with topknot,stuck-out ears,painted
facial features,black intaglio googly-shaped cross-eyes as though trying to focus on the bug
that is perched on its rounded nose,closed mouth with shy smile,five piece paper mache
body,silk baby dress. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Germany E.H. 276 15/0 DRGM.
Comments: Ernst Heubach,circa 1920. The exact doll is shown in the book The History and Art
of Googlies,page 149. Value Points: absolutely delightful expression on the rare little model.
