Condition: generally excellent, some typical wig pulls at the back of her head. Marks: K*R 109 60. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, the model "Elise" from their art character reform series, circa 1910. Value Points: the largest size known of this model; the size as well as the superb sculpting and painting especially around the mouth, with impressed cheek and chin dimples, indicate the doll's probable origin as an Exhibition model. The doll has her original body and body finish, and superb original custom wig and elaborate folklore costume, undergarments, shoes, socks and carries a woven basket. The sublime doll was featured in The Doll as Art by Stuart Holbrook, page 102.
