Description
3" inside head width. 2 1/4" shoe length. An ivory silk satin cap designed to hug the back of the
head and frame the face with a tightly-pleated frou-frou of ivory silk ribbons has a high crown
that is surmounted by a crepe-de-chine ribbon; the shape is gained from the intricate cloth
lining. Along with a pair of ivory kidskin shoes with ankle straps,silver button closures,ivory silk
bows,tan under-soles impressed "E. Jumeau Med. d'Or Paris" and "7". Excellent condition. Circa
1884.
