7 1/2" (19 cm.) The bone-handled parasol has beautifully-carved handle and finial and is
covered with mauve silk taffeta with cream silk fringe; contained in original gift box. Along with
a pair of matching cream kidskin gloves with rare mauve kid scalloped-edge trim,and mauve
stitching. Excellent condition. French,circa 1865,the classic mauve color is very rare to find,very
fine quality of workmanship.
