12" (30 cm.) All-wooden body with natural varnish finish and spring jointing, has slits at back torso and back of right leg to demonstrated the sturdy construction of the spring jointing. With original label "Schoenhut Doll, Pat. 17,’11 USA". Excellent condition. American, Schoenhut, circa 1911, the model was presented as a salesman’s sample for demonstrating the sturdy nature of the Schoenhut construction.
