15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head with rounded facial shape and plump cheeks,very large "O"-
shaped googly sleep eyes glancing to the right and upward,thick black eyeliner,fringed upper
lashes,feathered brows in upper-slanting strokes,rounded nose,accented nostrils,closed
mouth with wide beaming smile,outlined lips,blushed cheeks,brunette mohair curly
wig,composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition:
generally excellent,few typical wig pulls at back of head near the crown. Marks: K*R Simon &
Halbig. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt,circa 1918,the 131 googly model from their art
character series. The exact doll is shown in the book The History and Art of Googlies,back
cover. Value Points: rare and absolutely charming googly model has beautiful facial
complexion,very rare slanted brows,original wig and chubby toddler body,great costume of
