9" (23 cm.) Bisque socket head,tiny blue glass sleep eyes,painted lashes,lightly-tinted brows,accented nostrils,slightly-parted lips with two lower teeth,brunette mohair braids,five piece paper mache toddler body,beautiful lace dress and antique bonnet. Condition: faint hairline extends 1" down far right side of face,otherwise excellent. Marks: 1410 20 Germany. Comments: designed by the American artist,Joseph Kallus,made in Germany under commission by George Borgfeldt,circa 1925. Value Points: rare little model with wonderful expression,rarer wigged version,neatly-impressed cheek dimples.
