6" (15 cm.) Bisque socket head depicting a grey kitten with pink-lined ears,white stripe on face
that extends into pink-tinged mouth muzzle,large painted green upper-glancing googly
eyes,outlined nose,wide beaming smile on closed mouth,row of painted tiny teeth,five piece
paper-mache body with grey finish and red boots,red cotton dress. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: 3/0 9103 Heubach (in square). Comments: Gebruder Heubach,from their
series of "animal people" dolls,circa 1918. Value Points: very rare character with wonderful
expression of pure delight achieved by googly eyes and beaming smile.
