inset eyes,thick dark eyeliner,painted curly lashes,rose-blushed eye shadow,arched feathered
brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with accented lips,pierced ears,blonde
lambswool wig over cork pate,French kid bebe body with gusset-jointing at hips,knees and
elbows,bisque forearms,lovely antique costume comprising silk tulle pinafore over white
dress,undergarments,stockings,buckled leather shoes,and very fancy woven bonnet with blue
silk ribbons and upturned sides. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F. 6/0 G (block letter
markings,head and shoulders). Comments: Gaultier,circa 1880. Value Points: earliest model of
the Gaultier bebe has exceptional artistic painting of features,superb modeling with detail of
little chin and chin dimple,rare early original kid body and perfect bisque hands,and extremely
rare petite size.
