Description
2 3/4" (7 cm.) l. Of a finely-cast metal with rich gilded finish,the double inkwell has a center
candle holder,carrying handle,pin-tray,and rests upon elegantly-sculpted feet. Each inkwell is
lidded,and there is an accompanying gilded seal. Also included is an early box with gold paper
applique on the lid and the word "wafers" with bone seal and sealing wax wafers inside. Excellent
condition. French,circa 1870,a superbly detailed and preserved miniature desk accessory.
