Description
12" (30 cm.) The wooden-framed chaise a porteur has classic curved back and bombe shaped
roof,with beveled windows at the sides and opening front door. Original carrying handles are
attached,and the chaise a porteur is covered with original rich silk tapestry with embroidered
flowers and leave,with velvet roof,and gold metallic-thread edging. The deluxe nature of the
chair is indicated by its original colorful floral fabric covering the interior walls. Excellent
condition. French,circa 1885,original boutique paper label is on the underside.
