17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head with short brown curly locks peeking onto her forehead from a sculpted pink bonnet,having partially-sculpted ears,deeply-sculpted intaglio side-glancing pale blue eyes with pronounced black pupils and white eyedots,brown and incised upper eyeliner,short feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with defined space between the full shaded lips,composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 7966 (?) Heubach (in square) Germany 7. Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1912. Value Points: the rarity of this model is enhanced by the extraordinary detail of sculpting,including embossed design overall the bonnet,deeply-intaglio eyes with defined eye crinkles at the corners and below,impressed cheek dimples,two tiniest beaded teeth,dimpled bottom lip,original body in superb condition,and wearing very beautiful antique cotton and lace costume with matching undergarments,rose stockings,kidskin ankle boots with rose pom-poms.
