Description
4" (10 cm.) One-piece bisque Kewpie with right arm extended, clenched fist, sculpted black helmet with gold eagle emblem, red tipped finial, side-glancing eyes, blue wings, painted red-edging white chest banner, belt, and black handled silver sabre. With original paper label "Kewpie Hero" and stamped c. on feet. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1915, from original O'Neill designs.
