nostrils of rounded nose, closed mouth with wide beaming smile, two rows of tiny porcelain
teeth, impressed dimples in cheeks,Sonneberg composition and wooden fully-jointed body.

Marks: 8058 Heubach (in square). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912,the model was
originally presented as a companion to the preceding boy, based upon their conjoining model
numbers, their matching folklore costumes, and the fact that, despite their rarity, the dolls have
been discovered as pairs in these same costumes in three other collections. This very rare and
delightful doll with superb modeling wears her original blouse, green felt vest, linen print
pantalets and petticoat, flowered skirt, cotton print apron and shawl, and wears kidskin ankle
boots and carries a red-bound linen valise.
