5" (13 cm.) Brown bisque swivel head on bisque torso,depicting a standing-upright brown pup
with sculpted detail of fur,floppy ears with black shading,cream muzzle with whisker tips,brown
glass sleep eyes with black eye shadow,black nose,closed mouth with sculpted tongue tip,loop-
jointed bisque arms and legs,painted orange shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 890
(inside neck rim) Rag,Trademark copr. by Georgene Averill Germany. Comments: the brown pup
was designed by the American artist and produced in Germany under commission for
Borgfeldt,1920s. Value Points: extremely rare,the all-bisque pup is designed with swivel head
and glass eyes; few are known to exist.
