9" (23 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,blue glass inset eyes,painted
lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with outlined lips,waist-
length blonde mohair wig,peg-jointing at shoulders and hips,jointed strung knees,painted
stockings with scalloped edge,blue ties,pink ankle boots with lacing ties,along with pretty
muslin dress and bonnet. Condition: restoration to left arm,eyes set,otherwise excellent. Marks:
111. Comments: Kestner,circa 1880. Value Points: beautiful facial painting enhances the fine
bisque of the rare large all-bisque child,having fancily painted boots and extremely rare jointed
knees allowing extra articulation and posing.
