13" (33 cm.) Solid domed bisque flanged head,sculpted blonde hair in short boyish
fashion,intaglio blue right-side-glancing eyes with white eyedots,black upper eyeliner,short
stroke brows,rounded nose,closed mouth with drilled "O" hole,original muslin body with bellows
in torso,composition lower arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent,whistling mechanism
functions well. Marks: 8774 Heubach (in square) Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa
1912,when stomach squeezed,the boy "whistles". Value Points: the largest size of this model
which is rarely found,has choice bisque,sculpting,working whistler,and original blue and white
striped cotton romper suit.
