10" (25 cm.) A bronze-framed sleigh with rich gold leaf finish and elaborate front crest supports
a beautifully-scroll-sided carriage bed with blue silk and velvet upholstery,and attached light-
metal sides that are richly painted with dainty floral and garland scenes that encircle a pair of
winged Cupids in a bed of clouds. The seat lifts for access to a hidden compartment,designed as
a luxury presentation box with candy or jewelry. Excellent condition,some fraility to silk on seat
back. French,late 19th century.
