Description
3 1/2" (9 cm.) l. The firm-sided necessaire valise is covered with bronze-green tinted
kidskin,forming a trapezoid lid which hinges open to reveal the well-fitted interior that contains
a number of toiletry articles,such as brush,combs,powder puffs,shoe horn,blush,and cologne
bottles. The exterior of the case is decorated with white pearl buttons,and the case closes by an
intricate hidden pin. Excellent condition. French,circa 1865.
