10" (25 cm.) A wooden-handled parasol with gilded-metal hand grip in the shape of a collared
dog's head,with chain loop,and having a bronze green silk cover with Alencon lace edging and
trim,and silk ribbons. Excellent condition. French,circa 1890,the dog-head parasols were offered
in the Etrennes catalogs of Paris department store,designed for presentation with Bebe Jumeau
costumes.
