16" (41 cm.) Bisque head with flanged neck,elaborately sculpted red and green jester cap with
yellow ball tips,highly-characterized face with blue "living eyes," long hooked nose,painted
brows,nostril and eye corner accents,closed mouth with wide beaming smile,double-dimpled
cheeks,pointy chin,original muslin body with composition lower limbs. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: DRGM 954642 254. Comments: Herm Steiner,circa 1927. Value Points: the very
rare model has wonderful detail of facial expression,detailed sculpted cap,and has original silk
and velvet costume with lace and gold bead trim,and Polichinelle hump at the back.
