All-felt doll with swivel head,pressed and painted facial features,side-glancing blue eyes,feathered brows and lashes,accented nostrils,closed mouth,red wool yarn in tightly- arranged curls,jointing at shoulders and hips with outstretched arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci,Made in Italy,276 (box label). Comments: Lenci,circa 1928,the model appeared in an early Lenci catalog,named "Cupido" as model 276. Value Points: rare Cupid figure with wonderfully-delightful costume of applique felt,with applique hearts,red-strapped yellow boots,large felt wings,and carrying wooden bow and arrow in outstretched red-gloved hands,and a wooden gaily-decorated sheath filled with more arrows.
