5 1/2" (14 cm.) Pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque elongated torso,cobalt blue glass
enamel inset eyes,painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with pertly-shaped
lips,blonde mohair wig with extended-length braids,peg-jointed bisque arms and legs with ball-
jointing at elbows,bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Bte (back torso) Comments:
French,circa 1880,the all-bisque mignonette with ball-jointed elbows was deposed by Sustrac in
1877 and then by Schmitt & Fils in 1879. Value Points: extremely rare mignonette model in
impeccable condition,with exquisite beauty,daintily-braided plaits that extend below hip-
length,and wearing a peach silk dress and matching pressed flannel bonnet with peach silk trim
that are entirely-original,along with a tiny silver purse
