19" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head with very full cheeks,small dark grey glass sleep eyes,fringed
upper lashes,one-stroke tapered brows,rounded nose with accented nostrils,closed mouth with
very full lips,brunette antique human hair wig in long braids,composition and wooden ball-
jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 101 46. Comments: Kammer and
Reinhardt,circa 1912,the rare glass-eyed version of their beloved art character doll "Marie".
Value Points: finest matte bisque with outstanding sculpting especially around the
mouth,portraying a very wistful and solemn child,original body and body finish,the doll came to
the Kvitka collection from its original family,wearing this costume with wonderful pinafore.
