10" (25 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso,very plump face with full cheeks and
well-defined double chin,blue glass inset eyes,painted curly lashes,feathered brows,accented
nostrils,closed mouth with defined space between the lips,waist-length brunette mohair
wig,peg-jointed bisque arms with modeled bent elbows and cupped hands,peg-jointed bisque
muscular legs with tiny ankles,panted knee-high white ribbed stockings and yellow ankle
boots,pretty antique costume,undergarments,velvet cap. Condition: restoration at right elbow
bend,otherwise excellent. Marks: 5. Comments: Kestner,circa 1885. Value Points: the
exceptional size allows for full expression of the very plump face and so-called "wrestler" type
body.
