Pressed bisque socket head with very full cheeks,brown glass enamel inset eyes,thick dark eyeliner,painted dark curly lashes,mauve-blushed eyeliner,brush-stroked and feathered brows,accented eye corners,shaded nostrils,closed mouth with defined space and two painted teeth between the outlined lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French all-wooden fully-articulated body with peg and dowel jointing at shoulders,elbows,wrists,hips,knees and ankles,and wearing superb antique costume of aqua silk with cut-work collar and cuffs,lavish bonnet,undergarments,stockings,and shoes. pearl bead drop earrings. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (crescent dot symbol on head) (back torso incised H 2 and other illegible letters). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru,circa 1880,the model was made for one or two years only. Value Points: very rare model of bebe with gorgeous face and painting,superb body sculpting with original finish.
