Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features,brown side-glancing eyes in side-slant sockets,heavily-modeled eyelids,black curly lashes,black eyeliner,black feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth,black mohair bobbed wig,jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Lenci,circa 1930,from their series of Asian characters. Value Points: the rare character,with uniquely painted facial features,amber tinted complexion,is superbly preserved,wearing vibrant yellow felt tunic and pants with orange felt borders,under a black felt vest with signature medallion center,has wooden stacked heels,original woven hat,wonderful long queue at the back of neck,and superb original wooden lantern with painted decorations on the interior silk shade,and vibrantly painted exterior.
