11" (28 cm.) One-piece all-bisque vignette depicts a young boy wearing his papa's clothes
including top hat and yellow coat,standing alongside a seated young girl posed a a
mother,holding her large doll in her lap. The doll is supposedly ill,and the little boy,playing
doctor,holds a pocket watch in his hand. and "takes the pulse" of the doll. The vignette is
lettered on the chair base "In Suspense". Excellent condition except chips on finger tips of doll
figure. Germany,circa 1900.
