27" (69 cm.) Bisque socket head,blue glass sleep eyes,dark eyeliner encircles the
eyecuts,painted curly lashes,short feathered brows,accented eye corners,rounded nose tip
with accented nostrils,open mouth with outlined lips,two porcelain upper teeth,tongue,blonde
mohair wig over plaster pate,composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip
jointing,wearing pretty ivory silk and lace dress,undergarments,knit stockings,leather
shoes,and a wonderful ivory crepe de chene ruffled bonnet. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: O made in Germany 18 245 JDK Jr. 1914 c. Hilda Ges Gesch N 1070. Comments:
Kestner,circa 1914,their beloved "Hilda" model,this being the next-to-largest size model of
that doll. Value Points: choice bisque and painting enhance the gentle expression with
especially fine modeling around the eyes and mouth,rarer toddler body,finest soft mohair
curly wig.
