Description
10" (25 cm.) head circumference. 12"l. Solid domed bisque head with flanged neck,tinted
brown hair that covers the crown and down to the top of the double-sculpted ears,the baby
has a different face at front and back which are alternately revealed by simply flipping the
wire-framed bonnet that attaches to the original drilled hole above each ear. One face is a
classic Bye-lo face with brown glass sleep eyes,painted lashes and brows,closed mouth with
extended accent line; and the other face is a cheerful laughing baby with brown glass
eyes,painted lashes and brows,open mouth with movable tongue and two porcelain lower
teeth. The double-faced head is attached to a classic Bye-lo muslin body with celluloid
hands,and the doll is costumed in beautiful antique gown,undergarments,baby coat,and lace
bonnet with wire frame allowing the cap to be flipped. Condition: generally excellent.

Storey Putnam designs. Value Points: an extremely rare doll,no other model is known to exist.
