Description
The trio includes a woven thread bonnet (3 1/2" inside head width) that is decorated with bands
of woven straw,aqua silk ribbons and streamers,and an inside pleated ruffle of silk with
patterned silk ribbons; tightly-woven flat-topped bonnet (5" inside head width) with very wide
brim and silk inner lining,decorated with a large bouquet of small white flowers and rose mums
on the outside brim and on the side-upturned brim and with green silk ribbons and streamers;
and a white knitted wool cap (3 1/2" inside head width) with extended neck ruffle,cream and
ivory silk ribbons. Excellent condition. Mid/late 19th century.
