Bisque socket head,with very high forehead and nearly solid dome,painted facial features,blue upper glancing eyes,black upper eyeliner,white eyedots,single stroke wide brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips,brunette mohair bobbed wig,composition and wooden ball-jointed body,wearing ivory silk shirt and black velvet pants,silk cap,stockings,black leather shoes,Condition: generally excellent. Marks: C.P. 210 39. Comments: Catterfelder Puppenfabrick,circa 1910,from their art character series. Value Points: superb expression with deeply-defined eye hollows and indentations around the nose,finest quality of bisque on the doll so rare that is virtually unknown to exist.
