7" (18 cm.) Solid domed bisque head with flat-cut neck socket that perfectly incorporates into
bisque socket,painted brown hair in side-parted fashion that waves across the forehead,blue
glass sleep eyes,painted curly lashes,tinted brows,closed mouth with center accent line,loop-
jointed bisque arms and legs in bent baby pose,painted white ribbed socks and blue one strap
shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: copyr. by Mildred The Prize Baby Germany 880-
17 (torso) 880-17 (inside legs). Mildred Prize Baby c. Germany (original paper label).
Comments: Germany,circa 1920s,the model was commissioned by Borgfeldt,and it is
uncertain whether Mildred was the name of the doll or the name of the designing artist.
Value Points: the largest size of the rarely-found model with fine boyish-styled
hair,beautifully painted features,original paper label.
