Description
5 " inside head width. The wire-framed bonnet has
4" richly-gathered silk brim with fringed
edging,fronting another pleated ruffle of
exquisite embroidered tulle lace. A satin ribbon
gown decorates the inside brim,and there are wide
patterned satin streamers. At the bonnet
back,there is a generous flounce of embroidered
tulle lace that matches the brim ruffle. The
bonnet is fully-lined and has gilt lettering "Au
Bon Marche/Paris". Circa 1890.
