Description
5" shoulder width. 10" waist. 13" skirt length.17"
overall length. A beautifully-woven bengaline silk
with blue and black checkered pattern against a
silver-grey background forms the short cropped
vest with teal-blue grosgrain edging,and the skirt
that has a fitted waistband and double box pleats
all around. Also included is a fine sheer muslin
blouse with wide sleeves,lace edging,and extended
ruffled cuffs. And a silk-covered firm-edged
flat-topped bonnet (3 " inside head width) that is
decorated with blue silk banding and blue silk
roses with leaves. Circa 1865.
