Description
3 " shoulder width. 7" waist. 11" overall front
length. 16" overall back length. A rich bronze
green silk taffeta forms into an elaborately
constructed two-piece gown featuring button front
jacket that extends over the hips in elaborately
draped fashion and forms into an extreme bustle at
the back,along with matching gore-shaped skirt
with extended train. The gown is decorated with
fine Alencon lace,green silk bows,gilt-edged pearl
buttons,fan-shaped pocket,and a lavish aqua silk
bow at the back bustle. Circa 1870.
