Description
5" shoulder width. 13" overall length. Of a linen-like woven cotton in shades of blue and cream,the dropped-waist dress has narrow sewn-down tucks at the upper bodice with blouson effect below,pleated skirt,very full long sleeves with constructed cuffs,buttons and button holes at the back. Along with a woven straw bonnet in unusual black and natural straw combination with lace and ribbon trim,wooden-handled parasol with cotton print cover,and brown leather shoes with light tan overcast stitching,silver buttons,rose silk bows,incised size "9" and having remains of original French doll store label. Circa 1890.
