Description
6 " shoulder width. 12" waist. 18" overall length.
Of fine cotton in a navy blue and cream lattice
design,the seemingly-simple dress is intricately
constructed with cartridge pleats at the shoulders
and above the waist,full-length tapered sleeves
with additional over-sleeves at the upper arms,and
a full skirt that is slightly-elongated at the
back. Self-piping trims the neckline. Circa 1850.
