Description
5" shoulder width. 11" waist. 15" overall length.
A very dainty rose floral pattern is printed on
the cream cotton sateen fabric of the two piece
ensemble. The bodice features an aqua silk panel
between three angled pleats on either side,and the
long coat sleeves have aqua silk cuffs. The back
bodice has fitted dart shaping with aqua silk
panel,and the box-pleated skirt has a aqua ribbon
band near the hem,and aqua silk lappets around the
back waist. Along with an aqua velvet bonnet with
wire frame,elaborately draped fabrics,aqua silk
streamers,and a flower and bird decoration at the
crown. Circa 1875.
