Description
4" shoulder width. 8" waist. 12" overall length. A fine creamy cotton fabric is printed in an abstract pattern of mauve flowers and vines,and forms a lovely dress whose shape is formed by tiny cartridge pleats at the shoulders and above the waist,The sleeves are flared,pagoda-style,and the cuffs are finished with scalloped buttonhole stitch. The very-full shirt has cartridge pleating just below the waist and there are four buttons and handmade button loops at the back. Circa 1860.
