Description
4 1/2" inside head width. Of a dainty pin-dotted
fabric with quilted effect,the cone-shaped hat has
a very wide brim that is edged in fine scalloped
lace; the pin-dot fabric encircles the cap in wide
ruffles,with an elaborate flounce at the back; the
back brim is caught up to allow the crepe de chine
lining to show,along with a frou-frou of silk
ribbons. Circa 1880.
