Description
4 " shoulder width. 13" waist. 13" overall length.
A luxurious fabric of cashmere/silk blend is
printed with delicate springs of roses,garlands
and ribbons against alternating aqua and cream
bands. The dress features a very full blouson
bodice with four rows of ruching at the top,full
sleeves with fitted cuffs,flat-front skirt with
flared sides and gathered back,and trimmed with
bands of bronze-green velvet ribbons. Along with a
fancifully-shaped bonnet with upturned brim at the
back,turquoise silk faille band and
streamers,decorated by a bouquet of silk
wildflowers. Circa 1890.
