Description
4 " shoulders. 10" waist. 17" overall length. A
very delicate sheer voile is printed with pale
floral design,and forms into a lady's two-piece
gown with fitted yoke above a blouson bodice. The
sleeves are elaborately shaped with long
sous-sleeves below short sleeves with two bands of
tucks at the hems,and the entire bodice and upper
sleeves are hidden by a wide ruffled and
intricately folded collar. The skirt features a
set-in waist band above cartridge pleats and an
extended gathered ruffle at the hem. Narrow rose
silk ribbons trim the ensemble. Circa 1890.
