Description
4 " shoulder width. 11" waist. 11" overall length.
A soft silk satin fabric with very narrow pale
green stripes forms into a charming dress with
very full blouson bodice and sleeves,the fullness
achieved by generous pleats at the neck and
shoulders,above a set-in waist and full gathered
skirt that has two rows of horizontal tucks at the
hem. The dress is decorated with ivory braid trim.
Along with a very fancifully-woven straw bonnet
trimmed with fringed silk ribbons and meadow
flowers. Circa 1890.
