Description
5" shoulder width,8" length (smaller) and 8" shoulder width. 14" length (larger). The identical coats are of vibrant plaid wool with rounded collars that form into pointed hoods,and have hook and eye closure at the front with decorative brass anchor design buttons,coat sleeves,hip belt with two brass buttons and,red lining. The smaller has size 5 label,the larger has size 10 label,denoting the size of Bebe Jumeau they were constructed for; the coats were offered in Parisian department store catalogs. Circa 1890.
