Bisque socket head, blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, slightly-upturned lip corners, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over Steiner pate, French composition fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Steiner Paris Fre C 3/0. Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1885. Value Points: rare petite bebe with wonderful expression of tentatively smiling child, finest bisque and painting, original body and body finish.
